Paws of Hope
PAWS OF HOPE
Because Every Pet Deserves a Full Bowl and Every Family Deserves to Stay Together.
Our Concept:
Paws of Hope is an initiative of Tammy’s Table of Hope dedicated to helping individuals and families experiencing financial hardship provide food for their beloved pets.
We believe pets are family. For many people, especially seniors, veterans and those living alone, a pet is more than a companion. They provide unconditional love, emotional support and a sense of purpose.
No one should have to face the heartbreaking decision of feeding themselves or feeding their pets.
Our Mission:
To help keep pets fed, families together and beloved companions out of shelters by providing accessible pet food assistance to neighbors experiencing hardship.
How Paws of Hope Works:
Through community partnerships, private donations and the generosity of local businesses, Paws of Hope establishes and maintains pet food boxes in accessible community locations.
These boxes operate on a simple principle: Take what you need. Give what you can.
By removing barriers and providing assistance without judgment, we offer families a dignified way to care for their pets during difficult times.
Our Vision:
Our vision is to build a network of Paws of Hope pet food boxes throughout Louisiana and, eventually, communities nationwide.
Through partnerships with veterinary clinics, animal welfare organizations, local businesses, and compassionate community members, we hope to create a sustainable program that helps prevent pet surrender caused by financial hardship.
The Power of Community:
Paws of Hope is more than a pet food assistance program. It represents a community coming together to recognize that compassion extends to every member of the family, including those with four paws.
Every bag of donated pet food, every community partnership, and every monetary contribution helps us reach another family in need.
Our Promise:
To provide hope without judgment, assistance with dignity and compassion for both ends of the leash.
Because sometimes, keeping a family together starts with filling a bowl.
